There’s wooden play equipment, and then there’s FitWood.

Since 2015, this Finnish company has been quietly refining the idea that movement equipment can be genuinely good for children and beautifully resolved enough to belong in the home. HONKA may be their most compact wall bar, but nothing about it feels compromised — substantial birch plywood, clean proportions, excellent construction, and a design that looks closer to Scandinavian furniture than something destined for a playroom corner.

Installed near the floor, HONKA gives children a place to climb, hang, stretch, and build strength, balance, coordination, and confidence through everyday movement. And because FitWood designs for longevity rather than a brief stage of childhood, it can later be mounted higher for adult exercise or expanded with accessories as your family grows.

TUOHI II Slide Ramp — Birch

One beautiful FitWood piece is good. This is what makes it feel like an entire playground.

TUOHI II attaches to the LUOTO II climbing arch or any of FitWood’s wall bars and instantly creates a completely different kind of movement. One side is a beautifully smooth slide; flip it over and the raised rungs become a climbing ramp. Move it to a different bar and the angle changes too — from a gentle first climb to something considerably more adventurous.

It’s exactly the kind of accessory that makes the FitWood system so compelling. Rather than buying another large piece of play equipment, you give the piece already in your home an entirely new challenge. Children climb up, slide down, crawl across, experiment with balance and gradually discover what their bodies can do.

The updated TUOHI II adds secure fastening straps to help keep the ramp firmly in position during play, while the substantial birch plywood construction carries the same quiet, furniture-like quality as the rest of the collection.

If LUOTO II or HONKA is the foundation, TUOHI II is the accessory we’d have a hard time leaving out.

OKSA Pull-Up Bar & Dip Station — Birch

One of the things FitWood gets especially right: their pieces don’t stop being useful when childhood changes.

OKSA attaches directly to FitWood’s wall bars, turning an already beautiful climbing structure into a remarkably capable place for pull-ups, hanging, core work, mobility, and strength training. Remove the outer bar and it becomes a dip station, then take the entire piece down when you want the room back.

It’s another example of why we love FitWood. The engineering is serious, the birch construction is substantial, and yet the whole thing retains the clean, restrained character that makes their equipment feel at home in a thoughtfully designed space. Before their first climb

A few things
to know.

What is included?

HONKA is one wall-bar unit. TUOHI II and OKSA are separate accessories. The selection shows each item you’re adding; cushions and other furnishings in lifestyle photos are not included.

How do I plan the installation?

HONKA must be securely wall mounted. Check your wall construction, the required fixings and the intended mounting height against FitWood’s supplied instructions. Allow clear space for the chosen activity and any accessory. If you are unsure about your wall, consult a qualified installer.

Can the ramp and OKSA be used together?

They are both compatible with FitWood wall bars, but serve different activities. Plan a child slide configuration separately from an adult exercise configuration. Buying both does not mean both should be fitted or used at the same time.

What ages and weight limits apply?

TUOHI II is listed for ages 2+ with an approximately 132 lb capacity. HONKA and OKSA each have a listed capacity of approximately 330 lbs; this does not increase the ramp’s capacity. Follow each product’s use instructions and supervise children. See product details for the full specifications.
