Water-resistant, not waterproof. The wax coating causes light rain and splashes to bead up and roll off. For heavier exposure, you can re-wax the canvas with any wax-based canvas treatment to refresh the resistance.

The cotton webbing shoulder strap tucks into the interior of the bag when not in use. When you need it, pull it out and clip it to the D-rings. Takes about two seconds to switch between hand-carry and shoulder modes.

At 15″ wide and 12.5″ tall, it comfortably fits laptops up to 14″. A 15″ MacBook Pro fits but sits close to the top. There’s no dedicated padded sleeve, so we recommend a slim laptop sleeve inside for protection.

For the canvas: spot clean with a damp cloth. Re-wax once or twice a year if you want to maintain water resistance. For the leather handles: an occasional application of leather conditioner keeps them supple. Both materials are designed to age naturally and beautifully.
