A proper little machine, built almost like a piece of wooden engineering.

The front loader steers, the bucket raises and lowers, and the whole thing has the kind of satisfying movement that makes you want to operate it even before handing it to a child.

What makes Fagus especially remarkable is how it’s built. There’s no metal hardware holding it all together—no nails, screws, staples or metal axles. The joints, connections and moving parts are worked out in wood, using traditional dowels and remarkably thoughtful construction. It feels less like a simplified toy truck and more like a beautifully engineered wooden machine.

Load it with blocks, stones, animals, acorns, or whatever the job site requires and send it back for another trip.

It also comes with two removable wooden figures, because every serious front loader needs a crew.
