Hand-knotted in the 1950s by Central Asian artisans working in a tradition that stretches back centuries, this Turkoman Bukhara rug has spent the last seventy-odd years quietly getting more beautiful. The terracotta field, Gul medallions, and tribal borders were made with natural vegetable dyes — the colors that remain are the colors that earned it. One of a kind. 100% wool on cotton foundation.
