Chadwick Parker and Joe Huang started BIGiDESIGN in Chattanooga in 2009 with a simple pitch: bring people innovative everyday carry gear that helps them do more and carry less. This titanium pocket pen is part of their USA-made collection, crafted in Chattanooga. It's a telescoping pen — the body adjusts in length to fit different sized refills, whether you prefer a Parker ballpoint or a rollerball. An auto-adjusting collet grip at the writing tip keeps the refill wiggle-free. The grip section has 13 stripes. It's made from Grade 5 titanium with a Grade 4 titanium pocket clip and silicon O-rings. Comes with a Schmidt P900 ink refill installed, two spare O-rings, and a USA Ranger eye patch and sticker.

A telescoping pen is objectively weird. Most pens are just one length and you deal with it. This one slides and adjusts like a tiny trombone for your pocket, which is either brilliant or completely unnecessary depending on how you feel about refill compatibility. Either way, you get an eye patch with it, so at least there's that.
