Tuscan Leather Dog Collar | 3/8" x 10" | Center Bar Buckle

Auburn Leathercrafters has been making dog collars by hand in New York's Finger Lakes since 1950. Three generations of the same family, plus a crew of craftspeople who actually stick around (most have been there at least five years), turn out collars built to last using full-grain leather and a center bar buckle that does what it's supposed to do. They work with local disability organizations, veterans, and people getting back on their feet. The collar comes in more colors than you'd think necessary, but dogs don't care and humans like options.

Somewhere in the Finger Lakes, people have been buckling collars onto dogs since Truman was president. They could've automated this by now. They didn't. Good for them, probably frustrating for efficiency consultants.
