A small racing car built with an unusual amount of thought.

The Speedy is wonderfully simple: solid beech, a smooth hand-sized body, and sturdy rubber tires that roll beautifully across the floor. Its low, rounded shape makes it easy for little hands to grab, push, race, and inevitably send underneath the furniture.

But the best part is how Fagus builds it. The wooden body is interlocked, doweled and glued together by hand rather than assembled with nails, screws or staples. It’s an old-fashioned approach backed by remarkably clever engineering—the kind of construction that makes even this little car feel substantial.

Simple enough to become a favorite. Built well enough to stay one.
