Gas Lantern | Fire Maple | 128g | 57-Hour Burn Time
Notify me when it's back
A candle-like flame that runs on isobutane and weighs less than a deck of cards. Fire Maple built this for backpackers who want real light without the bulk, the soot, or the anxiety of open flame in a tent vestibule.
Turn the wire knob to dial from a low flicker to a bright, steady glow — enough to read by, play cards under, or light a table for dinner without blinding anyone. It burns for 57 hours on a single 230g canister at just 4 g/h, which means you can stretch one canister across an entire week-long trip. Even better: it runs on the low residual pressure that camp stoves can't use, so you can screw on a nearly empty canister and burn off the last few grams instead of packing out dead weight.
The whole thing weighs 128g (4.5 oz) — anodized aluminum base, stainless steel frame, borosilicate glass globe — and folds down to a footprint smaller than a soda can (95 × 50 mm). Comes with a padded hard-shell case and a jet nozzle cleaning needle, because Fire Maple knows you're not bringing a backup.
Manual ignition. Bring a lighter.
