Children arrange the pieces, assign rooms, move the pram through hallways, and practice the small rituals of caretaking. Tender Leaf Toys makes these from reclaimed rubberwood, a byproduct of the latex industry. Designed by Danielle and manufactured at Mentari International, a family-run factory in Indonesia where hundreds of local villagers work under high standards of training and wellbeing. Each piece is hand-painted, assembled, checked, wrapped in paper, and packaged in recycled cardboard under one roof. For every reclaimed tree used, the company plants a new one. Awarded the ICTI Ethical Toy Program seal of approval for ethical and sustainable supply chain practices.
