Auburn Leathercrafters has been making dog collars by hand in New York's Finger Lakes since 1950. Three generations in, they're still a family operation with a crew of skilled craftspeople who've mostly been there five years or longer. This collar is cut from Italian leather and closed with a center bar buckle — the kind of thing that gets better as it ages. The company works with local disability organizations, veterans, and folks getting back on their feet, and they design with durability in mind so the thing lasts.

Somewhere in the Finger Lakes, someone at Auburn definitely argued about buckle placement for longer than was reasonable. We respect that.
