Handmade Crochet Bear | Cotton Amigurumi | 5.5" Tall

A small crochet bear worked in natural cotton yarn by a family business in collaboration with partnering mothers. Children hold it during sleep, carry it room to room, and bring it along in the car. The stitches are tight and even, the shape compact enough for small hands, and the cotton breathes in a way synthetic plush does not.

Alina Yakimovich started Olive & Cradle in 2016 during her fifth pregnancy, when working outside the home became difficult and her handmade baby goods found an audience. The family grew from four to eight in quick succession, and the business grew alongside it. Each animal is handmade, soft without being floppy, and simple in a way that invites rather than overwhelms. The kind of toy that ends up in the crib, the diaper bag, and eventually the memory box.
