Alina Yakimovich started Olive & Cradle in 2016 during her fifth pregnancy, after her family grew from four to eight in quick succession and working outside the home became impractical. What began with handmade pacifier clips and Amish bonnets turned into a full baby shop, with her husband Alex providing the backbone that keeps both the business and the family running. These crochet amigurumi are handmade from 100% natural cotton yarn in collaboration with partnering moms in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. Five creatures to choose from: Teddy Bear at 5.5 inches, Deer at 6.6 inches, Fox at 5.5 inches, Bunny at 6.5 inches, and Birdie at 10 inches if you measure the legs, which you should. Soft, cuddly, safe for babies, and made with eco-friendly non-toxic materials.

Pick one animal and that's the reasonable choice. Pick two and you're covering your bases. Pick all five and you've committed to a yarn menagerie that will occupy an entire shelf and require names, backstories, and eventual arbitration when someone's favorite goes missing during a car trip.
