Banwood Classic Bicycle | 16" | Ages 4–7

The Classic is a 16-inch bicycle — alloy frame, cream tires, training wheels that come off when they are ready, and a rattan basket up front for whatever needs carrying. Banwood builds it with mid-century lines and Scandinavian restraint: brown faux leather saddle, retro rubber grips, a back-pedal brake that works the way a child expects, and a front caliper lever sized for small hands. The saddle adjusts from 46 to 57 cm as legs get longer; the handlebar from 66 to 72 cm. Suggested for ages 4 to 7, the years when a bicycle stops being a toy and starts being how they get to the end of the block and back before dinner.

Someone will name it. By next week it will have a personality, a preferred parking spot, and a backstory involving a cross-country journey that did not happen.
