That’s the whole trick.

Most small boxes are folded, glued, or welded together. The T-152 starts as a flat piece of steel and gets pressed into shape in a single hit. That’s why it feels so solid in your hand.

Toyo has been making tool boxes for Japanese workshops for over fifty years. The T-152 is the little one: small enough for a pocket-sized kit, sturdy enough to outlive the desk it sits on.

The powder coat is tough, and with real use it picks up small marks. Most owners like it better that way.

問How many can I stack?+

As many as your shelf allows. The recessed lid holds the box above in place, so a stack of ten stays put.

問Is it really one piece of steel?+

答

Yes. One flat sheet, pressed into shape. There’s no welding and nothing glued on, which is why it feels so solid.

問Will the color chip?+

The powder coat is very durable. Heavy use leaves small character marks over time. Think patina, not peeling.

問What fits inside?+

答

Anything flat and small: pens, cables, sewing notions, jewelry, first aid, tea bags. The inside is about 19 mm inside, so tall things won’t fit.
