01The footprint

A third of your desk, back.

The K2 Max drops the numpad nobody misses and keeps the keys everybody does — dedicated arrows and a full function row. Here's what that actually looks like on your desk:

02The DNA

Custom-keyboard guts. Grab-and-go body.

Everything the keyboard hobby obsesses over — hot-swap sockets, gasket acoustics, PBT caps, open firmware — packed into a board that costs $129.99 and works the second you unbox it.

i — The switches

Hot-swappable. Pick your feel.

Pre-lubed Gateron Jupiter switches — Red for smooth-and-quiet linear or Brown for a soft tactile bump. And because every socket is hot-swap, you can re-tune the whole board later with any MX-style switch. No soldering, ever.

ii — The sound

Gasket-tuned, not tinny.

Gasket mount plus acoustic foam kills the hollow ping small boards are famous for. It sounds like a board twice its price.

iii — The keycaps

PBT that won't shine.

Thick doubleshot PBT keycaps with the legends molded in — they'll never fade, and they never go greasy-glossy like ABS.

iv — The brain

QMK / VIA, no code.

Remap any key, build macros and layers from a browser. Or ignore it completely — it's perfect out of the box.

4000 mAh · goes where the laptop goes

Charge it in March. Again in May.

A 4000 mAh battery runs up to 190 hours — weeks of real work between charges. Connect over zero-lag 2.4GHz, hop between three Bluetooth devices with a keystroke, or plug in USB-C and forget batteries exist.

Light enough to slide in next to the laptop, complete enough that you'll never miss the desk setup. Mac, Windows, Linux — both keycap sets in the box.

05Before you buy

Quick answers.

The honest details, so the board that arrives is exactly the one you pictured.

Red or Brown switch — which one? +

Red is linear: smooth, quiet, no bump — great for shared spaces and fast typing. Brown is tactile: a soft bump you can feel on every press — great if you want feedback without loud clicks. Can't decide? Red is the safer all-rounder, and the board is hot-swappable, so you can change your mind later without buying a new keyboard.

Does 75% mean I lose keys I need? +

You keep the dedicated arrow keys and the full F1–F12 row — the things most compact boards cut. What goes is the numpad and the dead space around it. If you genuinely live in the numpad, that's what the Q5 Max is for.

Mac or Windows? +

Both, plus Linux. A physical toggle switches the layout, and both Mac and Windows keycap sets ship in the box.

How does it connect? +

Three ways: 2.4GHz wireless with the included receiver (zero-lag, 1000Hz), Bluetooth 5.1 across up to three devices with instant switching, or USB-C wired. The 4000mAh battery runs up to 190 hours.

What's in the box? +

The fully-assembled keyboard, USB-C cable and 2.4GHz receiver, extra Mac/Windows keycaps, and a keycap + switch puller. Unbox, pair, type.
