Upstate Stock is a New York-based company committed to revitalizing local manufacturing through vertical production, where every step—from sourcing to finishing—is overseen in-house. The brand produces high-quality, USA-made knit goods using sustainable materials and supports ethical labor, including partnerships with Recover Textiles for upcycled yarns and the Mozaic Organization, which employs a workforce that is 75% people with disabilities.

With knitting operations in Upstate New York and New Jersey and sewing in New York City, Upstate Stock works with some of the oldest East Coast mills to create fine knitwear for its own line, private labels, and large contracts. The company champions hyper-local production, sustainability, inclusivity, and New York pride.

The flagship Brooklyn store, opened in 2016 and sold to a local family in 2024, continues to feature New York-made goods, maintaining Upstate Stock’s focus on community and local craftsmanship.
