Bat Flower Press

Natalia Woodward is a Tarrytown-based artist, maker, and entrepreneur originally from Pereira, Colombia. A SUNY Purchase BFA graduate in Printmaking, she explores the natural world and its hidden connections through drawings, prints, and paper collages.

In 2020, she founded Bat Flower Press, a letterpress and papermaking studio dedicated to sustainable, handmade paper and artistic letterpress designs. Natalia’s work bridges art and functionality, collaborating with collectors and organizations like MoMA, while making meaningful, approachable creations.

Passionate about sustainability, she focuses on using unique local fibers from farms and businesses to reduce waste, advancing her goal of environmentally responsible papermaking and supporting local resources.
