Bat Flower Press
Natalia Woodward is a Tarrytown-based artist, maker, and entrepreneur originally from Pereira, Colombia. A SUNY Purchase BFA graduate in Printmaking, she explores the natural world and its hidden connections through drawings, prints, and paper collages.
In 2020, she founded Bat Flower Press, a letterpress and papermaking studio dedicated to sustainable, handmade paper and artistic letterpress designs. Natalia’s work bridges art and functionality, collaborating with collectors and organizations like MoMA, while making meaningful, approachable creations.
Passionate about sustainability, she focuses on using unique local fibers from farms and businesses to reduce waste, advancing her goal of environmentally responsible papermaking and supporting local resources.

This paper used to hang in MoMA. Sort of. It’s made from mat-board offcuts collected at the Museum of Modern Art — repurposed into 100% recycled cotton sheets in small batches in Tarrytown, New York. Each set varies in weight, color, and texture, so what you get is genuinely one of a kind. Takes ink, paint, letterpress. Comes with envelopes.
